Meet Tabitha!

Baking has always been at the heart of my story. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are in the kitchen with my grandma—mixing, rolling, and decorating anything we could dream up. She had a knack for making everything feel special, whether it was a simple batch of cookies or an elaborate cake. Her last name, Wise, and her love of owls became the inspiration behind my business name and logo. The signature glasses? Those are all me.

But my grandma wasn’t just an incredible baker—she was an artist in every sense. She had an eye for detail, whether she was painting delicate Easter eggs, crafting intricate ornaments, or bringing tiny brushstrokes to life on a canvas. Without even realizing it, she passed that love for precision and artistry down to me. That same care and attention to detail now find their way into my cookie designs, turning them into edible works of art.

That love for baking and creating never faded. It followed me through every stage of life—something I turned to for creativity, comfort, and connection. Then in 2020, when the world paused and I was furloughed from Carnegie Hall, I finally had the time to truly hone my craft. What started as a passion project quickly transformed into something bigger—a way to tell stories, celebrate moments, and bring people together through artfully designed, custom cookies.

Since then, Wise Cookie Treats has taken on a life of its own. My cookie storytelling has been featured on the NYC subway with Book of the Month, showcased in NowThis, and has landed in the hands of stars and brands like Taylor Swift, Girl in Red, Kelsea Ballerini, Stella McCartney, Elf Cosmetics, eBay, Marriott Bonvoy, Marc Jacobs, and J.Crew. I even got to chat about my journey on the podcast The Anatomy of an Entrepreneur, sharing how I built my business from a creative passion into a thriving brand. From high-profile events to intimate celebrations, every cookie is crafted with precision, passion, and just the right amount of whimsy.

What makes this journey even sweeter? It’s become a true family affair. My mom has been known to design a cookie or two, and my husband, Matt, keeps the business running smoothly—handling finances, logistics, and, most importantly, rigorous taste-testing. Together, we’ve built something that honors my grandma’s legacy while continuing to grow in ways I never could have imagined.

From a childhood spent baking in my grandma’s kitchen to creating cookies for some of the biggest names and events, this journey has been nothing short of incredible. And the best part? There’s still so much more to come.
